Background:
Epithelial membrane antigen (EMA), is a mucinlike
glycoprotein. Antibody to EMA has been
shown to be useful as a pan- epithelial marker
for detecting early metastatic loci of carcinoma
in the bone marrow or liver.

Application and Suggested Dilution:

Immunohistochemistry: (formalin/paraffin) use
at 0.1-0.2 μg/mL for 30 minutes at room
temperature. [No special pretreatment is
required for immunohistochemistry staining of
formalin/paraffin tissues]
The optimal dilution for a specific application
should be determined by the researcher.
